Health and Artificial Intelligence Egypt Takes Two Steps Forward in Medicine

In a step towards strengthening international cooperation in the healthcare sector, Dr. Abla El-Alfy, Egypt’s Deputy Minister of Health and Population, welcomed a delegation from the French business association MEDEF International at the Ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.

The meeting aimed to explore joint investment opportunities and reinforce collaboration between Egypt and France in healthcare services and medical technology, in line with French President Emmanuel Macron’s official visit to Cairo.

President Macron praised Egypt’s medical efforts in treating injured Palestinians, highlighting the country’s strong humanitarian role and advanced healthcare capabilities.

On the scientific front, a groundbreaking study revealed that artificial intelligence can now predict deadly cardiac arrhythmias up to two weeks in advance, marking a major leap in the early detection and prevention of heart attacks.
