About me

Nour Mental Health, Rehabilitation, Training and Capacity Development Center is one of the specialized centers providing mental health services, family, marital and educational counseling in Aswan Governorate. The center aims to provide psychological support and rehabilitation services for children, adults and families through a range of services tailored to individual needs, helping improve mental well-being and quality of life.

The center operates under the supervision of Dr. Omnia Abdel Haq, offering online psychological and counseling consultations to clients both inside and outside Egypt.

Center Supervision – Dr. Omnia Abdel Haq

Dr. Omnia Abdel Haq is the founder and director of Nour Center for Psychological Rehabilitation. She is a psychotherapist, family and educational counselor, holding a PhD in Mental Health from Aswan University, with over 10 years of experience in dealing with psychological disorders and addiction-related disorders.

Key Qualifications and Professional Experience:

Member of the Arab Institute of Mental Health and a published researcher at Dar Almandumah for the years 2018 and 2019.

Certified TOT Trainer accredited by the Human Development Syndicate, with experience in training and preparing trainers.

Presented a weekly psychological rehabilitation and awareness program on Teeba TV Channel in 2021, and participated in several television programs, including a phone interview with DMC.

Served as the psychological support coordinator for COVID-19 patients in Aswan Governorate and received recognition from the Governor of Aswan during 2021/2022.

Served as the psychological support coordinator for UNICEF's "No to School Bullying" project in Aswan Governorate.

Participated in providing psychological support to cancer patients at Aswan Institute and in psychological rehabilitation programs at Al-Banin Foundation.

Participated in numerous awareness seminars addressing women's, children's, family and adolescent issues.

Nour Center provides online psychological, family, marital and educational counseling services to individuals across all Egyptian governorates, as well as Egyptians and Arabic-speaking clients living abroad, without the need to visit the center in person.
